Logarska dolina, Slovenia

The 12th Summer School on Scientific Writing, Reviewing, and Publishing: “The untapped potential of forest fruit trees” trains students, early career scientists, senior researchers and members of project offices in writing, submitting and reviewing scientific publications, and offers the opportunity to improve the appropriate use of English terminology (also for writing projects). The focus is on scientific writing and publishing (in Q1 journals) in the exact sciences and especially in (applied) biology and forestry. The lecturer of the programme will be prof. em. Reinhart Ceulemans.

The training consists of lectures and practical training with many examples, tips and tricks. Participants will receive some practical homework and will be asked for input during the lectures and training. You are invited to bring a sample publication (yours or another researcher's) to the summer school.

The school will take place in Logarska dolina, Slovenia, one of the most beautiful alpine glacial valleys in Europe.

The school is organized by the Recovery and Resilience Plan project SKUPP, the Horizon Europe project FRUITDIV and the EVOLTREE network in cooperation with the Slovenian Forestry Institute.
