Management
The Slovenian Forestry Institute is a research institute of national importance and is organized as a public institute in accordance with the Research and Development Act and the Institutes Act. The Institute's research and development is conducted by scientists who are supported by other members of the Institute’s professional staff and management.
At the beginning of 2014, the Institute employed 74 people, of which 10 were in management, headed by the Institute’s director.
